Stayed Up All Night Trying To Write

Stayed up all night trying to write
I still can’t get you out of my head
Sleep didn’t come easy this night
Giving anything to only go to bed
The clock ticks past two & three
Knowing there’s nothing I’m going to find
Off dreaming of nothing, where I want to be
Another scotch to still my racing mind

      1. Listen, though.. timing is just iffy today so I’ll be in and out and maybe long pauses between replies but I am here, no worries if I am delayed replying etc.

      1. Anyone who gets annoyed with how your brain works, is a douche.
Generally I feel, we are drawn to both those who are in tune with us and those who are opposed to our tuning frequency. I think it’s to show us that everything requires balance to exist. So essentially, we can accept that the wavelength challenged will always appear in our path, but we can choose whether or not we want to tune in, which according to our inner nature , is opposing to what we desire, it doesn’t fit us, it doesn’t harmonise with us so we cease contact with it, and we can choose therefore to only listen to the resonant hum of those we are naturally in tune with, and either way, we still learn about life, everything and of course the everything of everything-Love.
So what I am saying is… I like your frequency and it sounds tres cool with mine.
Damn. I talk a lot, huh

      2. I agree, though I’d grant grace to some who don’t find themselves on a creative frequency. Sometimes I think ‘normal’ people are in our lives to bring us back to earth. I know I can get up in my head trying to create something and end up neglecting the more mundane tasks I need to tend to.

But that makes the community of creatives all the more invigorating!
